Mid West Regional Sales Manager - CPG FOOD

Description:Chapel Hill, NC Well established company doing business globally for over 50 years The selected professional is responsible and accountable for delivering profitable sales growth, for top accounts, including but not limited to Jewel-Osco and Ahold The position will be responsible for sales and profit goals, achievement of distribution and product placement quota’s, and successful management of multi-level contacts within each assigned account. This will be achieved by personally managing key accounts along with directing and managing a broker. Essential Job Functions: • Strategic planning internally with Consumer and Customer Marketing • Effectively communicate and negotiate between customer requirements and internal strategies • Management of direct accounts retailers • Manage 3rd part brokers to deliver sales and profit quota’s, product placement and distribution and promotional execution goals • Account management will include Generating and analyzing data including syndicated and account POS , Collaborative forecasting and planning with customers • Ability to formulate fact based selling stories and to sell vs. tell (Sell and negotiate intricate program events to targeted accounts • Manage P&L by account and by channel • Identify Manage with customer marketing promotional plans and ongoing opportunities • Follow up with post promotional recaps and initiate change as necessary
Requirements:4 year college degree • Minimum 7-10 years Max Food Product Line; Headquarter sales experience, Distributor and broker management (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DIRECTLY MANAGED A HQ AND BROKER) ) This is a career development role Requirements 4 year college degree • Minimum 7-10 years Max Food Product Line; Headquarter sales experience, Distributor and broker management (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DIRECTLY MANAGED A HQ AND BROKER) ) This is a career development role • High level of Strategic planning experience with a solid understanding of category management. • Demonstrate a high level of independence and self motivation; take initiative and show resourcefulness while working in a flexible team environment. • Experience in generating, interpreting and analyzing syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen, R) and have used forecasting software. • Technologically sound
Compensation:$120K - $140K ($600 month car allow,Free Healthcar
