Leads development, management, and communication of the private brand business at Walmart . Establishes Company as Walmart’s preferred private brand partner. Delivers annual revenue and financial objectives, as well as JBP goals. Understands both customer’s and Wells’ strategic priorities, and develops plans to deliver mutual success and long range partnership. ACCOUNTABILITIES . Leads all business analysis presentation preparation to develop Walmart’s private brand businesses. This includes external (annual line review, QPS, and bi-monthly 1:1’s with Walmart Sr. Buyer and GV Project Manager) and internal initiatives (monthly business reviews, annual planning, monthly forecasting). Expert knowledge of Walmart category and the role private brands fill. Develops three year plan that aligns both Walmart and Wells strategies. Influences Wells core team by delivering insights, identifying gaps and meeting frequently with internal partners to identify and develop strategic initiatives. Actively identifies and supports private brand NPD, QI, and CI initiatives. Understands objectives and financial goals of each project. Tracks team against progress and develops contingency plans. Leads RFP process. Demonstrates strong project management skills. Develops strong cross-functional partnerships within Wells. Collaborates, influences, and supports the Customer Brands core team to achieve mutual goals. Works closely with Finance, Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to deliver accurate revenue and production forecasts. Develops a positive relationship with key Walmart partners, including the Sr Buyer and GV Product Development managers. Develops joint annual plan with Walmart, tracks progress against JBP goals, identifies gaps and opportunities, and negotiates solutions with the Sr. Buyer. Tracks progress against initiatives and influences Walmart to execute efficiently and effectively. Leads Walmart International (Great Value) business development.
Requirements:EDUCATION - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.. EXPERIENCE List experience preferred to be qualified for the position - 7+ years experience in business cpg development and working directly with customers. Proven performance in leading and influencing cross-functional teams preferred. Must haves: Influencer- Bring consumer insights Deep understanding of brand management----A brand manager that can sell _Financials- Must know and to manage a P&L Lot’s of interaction with R&D SPECIFICATIONS List specifications required for the job and indicate the importance and proficiency levels of each. * Knowledge - Retail Link, Microsoft Office, Shiloh or similar data applications, Syndicated Data. * Skills - Financial acumen (P&L and forecasting). Effective communication skills. Experience leveraging data to identify customer opportunities. Ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities. y * Abilities - Manage a diverse team; Manage client relationships to maximize our business investments; Shows strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize team efforts; Must think strategically and work independently while collaborating with team and manager.
Compensation:$120-$130k + Bonus
