The chosen professional is responsible for achieving sales objectives consistent with corporate volume and profit targets. He or she directs and manages broker planning and execution against volume, distribution, pricing, merchandising, trade spending and retail objectives. Direct customer Responsible for achieving sales and trade spending objectives in support of strategic growth plans for retail accounts, as well as wholesale accounts and convenience/drug/dollar customers. • Develop a clear and measurable short- and long-range volume and distribution plan to achieve overall objectives for each product within each account. • Develop and manage forecast of product sales by account by package, promotional execution element tracking, promotional funds and submit as required in timely manner • Secure targeted programs and expand distribution in all channels of trade by setting benchmarks with the assigned broker in each market and making account calls with the brokers. • Communicate with the broker field sales/merchandiser team consistently and accurately chain and market activity. Work with field team in store frequently within the region • Develop and implement regional programs including but not limited to planograms, ad activity, price and thematic promotions to achieve agreed upon objectives. • Monitor and measure results through monthly, quarterly reports. • Identify and resolve any customer concerns. • Independently or with stakeholders develop and implement sales presentations to secure new accounts and or new product distributions • Manage use of POS, discount budgets, promotional funds, and all other resources to achieve objectives within budget.
Requirements:Qualifications (All must be met) 4 year college degree 4-7 years Previous consumer products sales experience with 2 years HQ .Seeking a person to grow further and will not consider a director level willing to take step back Ability to travel required Strong knowledge of sales function processes and cross-functional exposure (Trade marketing, Category Management, Marketing) Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data and Customer Manager Process, as well as Microsoft Office
Compensation:$110-$120k + 25% Bonus & Car & Benefits
