Description:(Convenience/Value/Foodservice & Non-Traditional Channels) Location: Flexible – Preference for Centrally located – other locations may be possible Job Purpose and Description We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our client who is growing snack brand in the US market. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading sales development in C-store, Value Channel, Vending and Non-traditional outlets. Home office location. This is a great role for the person who is passionate about developing new accounts as well as working with brokers and enjoys business development across multiple channels. This is a terrific product with a long history globally and now increasing distribution in the US market. This entrepreneurial role will be focused on achieving breakthrough business results and customer development beyond existing frameworks. He/She must possess the ability and experience to create scalable sales initiatives and processes to drive growth. In addition, the NAM must be detailed oriented to manage dozens of customers over multiple channels. Key Accountabilities: • Deliver sales and financial Operating Plan commitments for new and existing customers. • Lead pursuit of new customers and channels. The channels include C-Store, Vend, Foodservice, Department Stores, Value and Non-Traditional Outlets. • Build and maintain strong broker performance through communication and goal setting. • Develop annual selling plan for C-stores and Value channels • Optimize existing broker network; Explore new brokers to handle emerging channels (e.g. Foodservice) • Provide clear visibility and transparency to all business-related activities. (e.g. trade investments, pricing, meetings, customer presentations, travel and entertainment) • Document all key agreements and key meetings via CRM. • Work collaboratively with logistics to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain. • Demonstrate strong general MS-office and IT-skills, in particular software supported sales and demand planning. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree • 5-10 years of experience • C-store experience calling on HQ and working with brokers. Additional diverse channel experience preferred. Value Chain or Foodservice or Vending, Alternative MUST BE A HUNTER TYPE
Compensation:$100-120K \up to $25K bonus $6K car allowance
