Description:Must have a keen interest and adept in areas such as consumer electronics category experience (Sound Bars, Speakers, Cell Phone Accessories, Photo Accessories) Location: Montvale NJ This is a holistic Marketing Manager role. Division of a large European company with terrific opportunity to manager a great category for the USA within consumer electronics. Reporting to the Product Marketing Director, this role is responsible for managing and coordinating the marketing activities for the assigned product lines: - Evaluating, suggesting and managing SKU assortment, in conjunction with sales, by account - Defining the strategy and the role for the category inside the overall product proposition - Product launches - Working hand-in-hand with the Sales team to deliver sell in & sell through plans that will allow brands to achieve the business goals as an overall and specifically of the category - Monitoring the progress and proactively identifying corrective actions. The Marketing Manager defines and implements sales and marketing initiatives established with divisional product marketing and local sales. This includes new product development, product branding, product packaging and positioning, sales forecasting and tracking, pricing, inventory management, consumer and trade promotion, marketing and sales communication and competitive tracking. In addition, this position is responsible for developing the individual plans and programs to ensure accomplishment of strategic goals in the US market for the assigned Category. • Serve as team leader for all assigned product lines related activities for the United States marketplace. • Work closely with divisional product marketing teams to coordinate launch schedules and delivery dates of new products. Plan the roll out and introduction of new products and coordinate with the Sales team to provide them all the tools they need. • Work with sales team to develop focused range plans by account and channel and to maximize our presence in store • Manage specific challenges between channels including in store and online implementations. • Coordinate presentation materials for key product meetings and line reviews. • Be the brand ambassador and product expert providing support to our customers, customer service, sales team and end users. • Develop pricing programs. Manage and update price database for all products and be responsible for margin return • Strong concentration in forecasting and inventory management. • Work with Supply Chain team to forecast demand by SKU; interact with Supply Chain team to manage product forecasting and inventory. • Execute all marketing activities including short and long- range strategies. • Develop and implement product training programs for dealers and sales reps, if needed. • Develop promotional sales/collateral material including product brochures, price sheets, sell sheets and spec sheets. • Monitor, analyze and report competitive activities, products and market trends. Attend industry trade shows and other consumer events and assist in planning and execution.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree • 5+ years of experience • Strong marketing/product management experience • Analytical skills with forecasting and inventory control • Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office) • Good communicator both verbally and written • Competent trainer / presenter • Multi task / Flexible working attitude • Excellent personal relationship skills • Builds positive working relationships • Team player with the ability to work independently as required • Strong team building experience • Initiates improvements • Takes ownership • Adapts to change • Retail merchandising knowledge • Experience of analyzing / utilizing NPD data • Preference for consumer electronics category experience (Sound Bars, Speakers, Cell Phone Accessories, Photo Accessories) or luxury goods (Watches, Sunglasses, etc.)
Compensation:$100-$110 + 20% Bonus
