Description:Major 70 year old Company- Summary This position serves as the Sales Manager for the Resource Efficiency – specialty chemical business line to maintain the existing business and to grow the business and contribution margins in the market segments RESPONSIBILITIES •Responsible for achieving the agreed sales budget targets for her/his selected customers and/or regions •Serves as the direct customer contact at medium to large accounts, representing the entire product portfolio, and preparing detailed quotations and proposals for standard and non-standard product, project and/or service offering •Serves as sales lead and regional representative for select product group(s) •Networks at a range of levels and functions within target customer organization, up to senior management. •Analyzes selected accounts (their product portfolio, business strategy, key buying factors etc), and works together within the wider team to align an approach that achieves the business targets for those individual accounts •Acquires new business within his/her customer portfolio as well as acquires new customer/potential accounts •Participates actively in industry trade shows/organizations gaining new leads, market insights and promoting our products and services in the market •Completes detailed sales forecasting and competitive analysis as well as account plans and monthly reports •Serves as project leader or sales lead on customer projects. All customer projects involve alignment of a cross functional team. •Manages reporting databases
Requirements:College Degree preferred required, Business and/or Chemistry degrees Proven sales experience, in the specialty chemical industry. Experience working on complex and sophisticated contracts . Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with key decision makers at all levels at customer accounts and internal management.
Compensation:$90-$125k +29% Bonus + Company Car
