Description:POSITION OBJECTIVE Responsible for sales and senior account management of existing key relationships and new business development by actively identifying and securing new customer opportunities in North America. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY • Prepare and present high level and detailed technical proposals, with expectation of converting into commercial opportunities for our automation equipment within the US Beef and Pork processing sectors. • Develop strategically valuable business opportunities to deliver agreed new customer acquisition targets, and develop and maintain key account relationships. • Manage opportunities with the Pork and Beef teams and be the point of contact, with support when required. • Support Poultry in sales for the North American region as products are developed and ready to “go to market”. • Actively seek new business within the meat industry in North America, present comprehensive proposals and convert opportunities into new business with minimal supervision. • Business Development project management. Develop project scope, budgets, and timelines. • Assist in ensuring successful project delivery (e.g. on time and on, or under, budget), by: • Work closely with meat sales team to maximize synergies between domestic and North American strategy, project work, and opportunities.
Requirements:• Bachelors degree • Requires having spent sufficient time in the industries to fully understand the workings of US Beef and or Pork processing pack houses including slaughter, break down process and equipment usage, USDA regulations, contamination risks, yield opportunities, production drivers, industry ROI expectations . • Able to confidently and concisely communicate with people at all levels of the industry, from floor supervisors, maintenance technicians, to plant engineers and CEO / CFO levels. • A strong technical engineering background • Over 5 years’ experience in business development and building customer relationship • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy • Be customer and results focused, have integrity, and be a proven team-player
Compensation:$150-$200K
